IN LATE 92' ....WITH THE PRESSURE REALLY ON AND THE SHIT REALLY BURNING....A DESPERATE LONE ONE MAN BAND WALKED INTO A RECORDING STUDIO ARMED WITH A COUPLE OF NEW SONGS..........and it would be for the last time.........Originally titled "Yuribawb".....it accidently and infamously was printed on the 1994 "Fountain 'Weird' cd as "Irie Bob"..........This little three and a half minute hit song I really really like..........and it turns out I am one of the few.........the myopic lyrics here go back to the early days of "Racers" by the flipper G>E.........."They all agree he's genius...Nobody comes to visit...." that kinda shit.."but they've got lives to lead, things to do"..."Places to go"....This and Brandy recorded and worked on the same days and "White Suburban Liars" too...was around this time.........the final GE ALBUM "BIG TEEN DOLLARS" is actually my favorite and it is a fluke of fate !.....This song is sorta my ode to the lonely hidden genius who everyone hates...kinda' like 'the Fool on the Hill"....People say this woulda been a hit song if it could have landed on KROQ IN 93' ....BUT THAT IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A 'GOOD GE SONG' PERSAY....I KINDA AGREE WITH THAT...and then again i don't........I REALLY LOVE YURIBAWB.....MY SEMI- ODE TO MY END OF YOUTH ...I remember I may have written this up in Bel Aire whilst mowing a lawn I think.........This is for Kurt,
