...IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO DISCUSS GE WITHOUT GOING INTO THIS SONG AT GREAT LENGTHS.....THIS REALLY IS THE SONG ...IF NO OTHER...THAT 'IS' GE........."Five years" is that moment every rock n roll band has to have ...or they are finished ! This song grooves around like Motley Crue or some metal band like Ratt but no...it has way too much of the stones in it and it bites the song "Rocks Off" on Exile on Mainstreet so nicely...it would make Green Day proud !......BASICLY , FIVE YEARS IS JUST A GREAT SONG AND WE WILL LEAVE IT AT THAT..........RELEASED IN SEPT 1992 ON THE 'BIG TEEN DOLLARS' CD...Note In late 92' there was actually a GE album called "White Suburban Liars" but it lasted only about a month and later these two albums were put together as 'BTD' --- WITH THE COMPUTER FUTURE 'COVER' ALBUM ARTWORK.....
