The story behind this song is very sad,...very pathetic...and I don't wanna go into it...and nor do i ever wanna go...BACK THERE TO 88 AND 89...AND the vibe I was feeling.......Lets just say I wanted to Die....and We'll leave it at that.......This song is basicly in honor of bands like CIRCLE JERKS THEN..Suicidal Tendencies 1982 era...and maybe later for bands like NOFX AND VARIOUS 'FLIPSIDE' MAGAZINE CULTURE BANDS"..LIKE JAWBREAKER AND THE SUCH.....ALTHOUGH...I LIKE TO SAY GE REVOLUTIONIZED SOMETHING HERE..(AND ON STUFF JUST BEFORE THIS TOO)...PUNK SONGS WITH TECHNICAL DRUMMING LIKE METALLICA...I THOUGHT I INVENTED IT...THOUGH MANY ARGUE ITS BEEN DONE BEFORE ! SHARK !...WELL........TELL ME WHERE !...with melody like this ?? BANDS LIKE LAGWAGON AND PROPAGHANDI ...ALL THOSE 90'S BANDS...THEY CAME AFTER GE! I THINK THE BAND D.I. WAS PRETTY RAD...AT THE TIME...BUT SLAYER WAS DEFINITELY IN MY HEART....THIS LICK COMES FROM FLIP AT A REHEARSAL IN REDONDO....WE KNEW RIGHT A WAY THAT THIS THING WAS A CLASSIC !...One of the best songs Ever out of the South Bay.........
Well,,,,,,,this thing is a classic if ever there was one ! ALWAYS PLAYED LIVE...AND IT ALWAYS BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN........WORKED everytime to a charm........when things got slow, GE KNEW all they had to do was play this fierce punk anthem to get out of tough situations ! ITS TOUGH TO SAY WHO PLAYED IT BETTER LIVE; ME OR FLIP !.....We both played it well.....this dropped onto record store shelves in April of 1990,,,,,,,,,as part of the three song ep "Immorally Moral"
