No doubt about it.....This fabulous song with the unreal vocals, arrangement, lyrics, drumming ...and you name it...IS 'THE' PINNACLE GE ANTHEM.......written one day about August 1992 in Playa Del Ray California at a condo I was crashing in that my brother Paul was staying in as he did battle with his now x-wife at the time....THIS SONG IS WRITTEN ABOUT HIM....He would page his wife and come and stay with me each day for about 45 minutes ...he would always leave and go be with her...then he would come back about 10;00 pm...and leave again....he would drive all the way back to Redondo ! Then around midnight , he would come in and crash on the condo's living room floor....possibly ..of his wife called him or paged him...He would get up and leave yet again....!!! AND RETURN YET AGAIN....THIS COULD HAPPEN UP TO SIX TIMES A DAY ; I WAS COUNTING !!!! ME?...I WAS WORKING IN BEL AIR AT THE TIME MOWING LAWNS N SHIT'....MANY DAYS THOUGH...I would just be kickin' it at the Playa Del Ray thing...writing songs and listenin' to Patsy Cline and the "Cowsills songs like "the Park" and "hair".....Clearly the harmonys on 'Addicted' come straight from the cowsills...I would also listen to stuff like "Theres a place" by the Beatles....Paul also had a Johnny Cash cd that I would play endlessly !...A friend of mine from the south bay named Alex suggested that "This song is about masturbation ! Isn't it shark??".........YOU SOUTH BAY NAZIS ARE SO FUCKING WEIRD MAN....YOU PEOPLE CRACK ME UP....YOU ALL HAVE SERIOUS ISSUES , ..DUDE "--LOL HA HA....
